Extra-Curricular Activities



  1. Extra-Curricular Activities play an essential role in education, but their importance is often neglected. The primary role of the division is to provide a good space of the development of student clubs and associations. By this students may acquire knowledge and skills beyond their course work, including communication self growth as well as leadership management.
  2. The following extra curricular activities are given in our school.

Dance



Dance is an expressive and joyful art. The students are offering to learn Classical folk, and fusion dances from an instructor during school hours. The students who trained in the school will perform in various Inter-school competitions and also perform in the school events.


Guitar

Karate



Karate will be conducting for student from 1 to 9th class on every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 3 PM. Karate class improves mental alertness, discipline and quickness of movements of students. Students will be starting with the white belt and are given different coloured belts based on the level of examination that they appear for. Examinations will be held twice in a year and students are marked based on their movements and techniques.


Drums



Students in the band perform with the Drum Major's male. The members of the band play a wide away of instruments like the pace-setting base and side drums, various wind instruments like trombones, trumpets, saxophone, euphoniums and the flutes. This assortment of majestic instruments, include the triangles and morocco's. The members of the school band add colour and rhythm to our Sports Day.


Robotics



It leads to the applied real life problems found in project based tasks. It allows self-directed challenge base learning rather than simply absorbing and regulating facts.


Scout and Guides



Scout is a movement that aims to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, that they may play constructive roles in society, with a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills.


Rope Skipping



Rope skipping is a simple sport, It involves swinging a rope so that it goes over the head and under the feet. In addition to being a fun pastime for children, rope skipping is also useful form of exercise. It provides a good cardio vascular work out and develops hand eye to coordination.


YOGA



Yoga comes from the sanskiet word ‘Yug’ which means to unite or to join. The main aim of yoga is to help one connect with one’s inner spirit, which is connected with universal spirit or god. Yoga creates a balance between the body and the mind, and to attain self enlightment. Yoga beings stability to the body and wave ring mind.


Spoken English



English is an international language of communication. The knowledge of English increase our knowledge of other subjects. Spoken English classes helps the students to develop the communicative English.
